Together with the Joystick Driving feature, the Autopilot offers a new and much more comfortable way of maneuvering your boat. The Autopilot is an integrated part of the EVC system and doesn't require separate start-up. Set your course, activate the Autopilot function on your joystick and enjoy easier driving. You gain perfect control over the course in the clear color display and can easily adjust your course during your trip. Thanks to the shadow drive function, the Autopilot automatically engages after any manual course changes. The Autopilot is a stand-alone feature and can be used without installation of the Joystick Driving feature. The Autopilot feature is a part of Volvo Penta's electronic platform, EVC (Electronic Vessel Control). The new EVC generation, EVC-E, enables easier installation combined with time- and fuel-saving add-on features. Penta EVC-E is a comprehensive system for all the boat's engines; one system, one manufacturer, one way of installation and one single contact for all service matters – locally as well as globally.
